Moon of the Leaves Shawl
Pick 650-700 yards of your favorite fingering weight yarn, and size 4(3.5mm) knitting needles and begin knitting a lovely shawl.
With gauge in stockinette stitch, 26 stitches and 40 rows for 4 inches (10cm). Knit this asymmetrical shawl with slip stitches, knits, purls, yarn overs, knit 2 together and slip slip knit decreases.
Moon of the Leaves Shawl has a beautifully simple look that is inspired by nature. The slip stitches and center decreases mimic the lines on a leaf.
