Upon request, after so many of you liked my Moon Phases Sweater for children, I finally finished the Moon Phases Sweater Version for Grown Ups.

Right now, this pattern is for free, but I really appreciate the following: Consensually smash that love and downloading button and please provide me with feedback. Project pages, comments and other support are very welcome :-).

This pattern is right now in the phase of open testing, so if you find any errors, please let me know. It has been a lot more complicated to design it than I initially anticipated and I tried to be very thorough, but you just never know.

Please note: I chose overlaping charts, so there are only one or two charts (depending on the size) per size and not six (one for every moon). Please let me know if this is a good or a bad idea. For me, fewer charts are easier to work with, but this might not be the case for you. So I’m gratefull for any input you can give me.

It is knitted from the top down and is worked seamlesslly and in the round. The most difficult part is for sure the colorwork yoke - I recommend using different stitch markers for different moons.

The body and the sleeves are separated and worked from the top down and once you’ve passed the colorwork, this is an easy project.

The Moon Phases Sweater is suitable for dk or sport weight yarn.

This pattern comes in 15 different sizes and contains 22 charts (one or two per size). The moons grows as the sweater grows to insure proportions look just right.

I hope you like this pattern and I’m looking forward to your feedback.
