• 170y for foldover brim
• 120y for regular brim
• dk weight yarn in CC - 10y
• yardage can vary by knitter and gauge
• US size 6 (4 mm) 16” circular needles
• US size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular needles
• can also use longer circulars with the magic loop method
• may need dpns for decrease tapestry/ yarn needle for finishing
