Moon Tapestry
• The finished size will be approximately 18” x 18” after blocking.
• This is an intermediate pattern but would be suitable for advanced beginners, too.
• Using a smaller hook size will give you the same tapestry but decrease its size, If you wish to have a smaller tapestry, use a 4mm hook or even a 3.5mm hook.
• For most of the portions with large blocks of color, crochet over the other color you were using and carry it along underneath your stitches until you have to switch back to it. This can cut down on how many ends you have on the back of your tapestry and it makes switching colors easier.
• When color switching, insert your hook, pull up a loop, pull through, yarn over with new color, and pull through the loops to seamlessly switch colors.
• When in the pattern it says something like LG 16, DG 2, LG 9… that means use light grey for 16 stitches, dark grey for 2 stitches, light grey for 9 stitches, and so on.
• “finish the rest of the row” or anything to that effect just means crochet as normally until the end of the row. Do NOT cut and finish off your yarn, that is not what I mean.
