Moonlit Forest Square
This granny square features a ring of spruce trees and a central sun/moon. By varying the colors the square can depict an atmospheric night-time forest or a cheery midday scene, or anything in between. The finished square is quite big, measuring about 21cm/8,2inches when made with worsted/aran weight yarn and size 3,5mm hook.
Part of this square is worked with having two separate yarns attached at the same time, being worked each in turn. Due to this and parts where some stitch placements need special care taken, this square is not a beginner pattern by any means. I recommend it to advanced crocheters.
This 14-page digital PDF contains row-by-row crochet patterns for creating the square, and contains a lot of progression pics for help. The PDF is in english and uses US terminology.
