Anyone who knows me in real life knows that I have had a slight obsession with owls pretty much my whole life. From the scary tales of the Lechuza from Mexican folklore told to me by my grandparents to the cute little owls in this design- I love them and everything in between. I often find myself mindlessly sketching owl eyes on post it notes during meetings and decided I definitely needed to add some more owls to my designs. I hope you find them as cute as I do!

This pattern is created using overlay mosaic crochet techniques. If you already know the overlay mosaic technique, this is considered a beginner pattern as there are no special stitches. All of my patterns include both graphs and written row by row directions.

Pattern Specifics:

• 163 stitches by 181 rows
• Predictions are based on worsted weight yarn
• Yardage and finished size are dependent on the size hook and yarn you use, as well as your tension and whether you use the negative stitch.
• Approximately 880 yards each of two contrasting colors
• Approximate size using 4mm: 40”x45”, check photos for stats on pictured project
• 1 large graph marked with Xs in light blue and white, sectioned, blown up graphs marked with Xs
• Written row by row stitch directions
