Note
Cardigan body is worked flat in three separate pieces. After
seaming the sides and shoulders, stitches are picked up around the armholes and each sleeve is worked in the round down to the cuff with a section of colorwork. Stitches are picked along the fronts and back neck to work the button bands before buttons are attached. The shoulder seams are designed to come slightly forward when worn.

Note
身頃は, ボトムアップで後ろ身頃、前身頃を別々にそれぞれ往復編みで編み, 肩と脇をはぎ合わせる. 袖は袖ぐりから目を拾い袖口に向かって, 途中で編み込み模様を編みながら編む. 最後に前身頃端, 後ろ襟ぐりから目を拾い, 前立てを編む. 肩はぎのラインが前から見えるデザインになっている.
