A note on the thread: I did the design using the Silk Serica and, using just one 10 yard spool, the portion of the neck piece that I made ended up just over 10 inches long. This used up about 23 grams of beads. So this kit (with at least double that amount of thread) will allow you to make at least a 20 inch neck piece, well large enough for your needs and probably with a bit left over. You will be knitting until the piece fits your own neck comfortably.
