The Moonstone Beanie is textured knit hat with a puckered, oversized side braid. The body of the beanie is knit in luxurious seed stitch and slouches ever so slightly for a modern, stylish look.

Beginner friendly! But, also fun for the experienced knitter.

Sizes range from toddler to adult large and notes are provided for creating smaller/larger sizes as well.

This design is knit in the round using two different sizes of 16” circular needles and DPNs (or magic loop) to decrease. US10.5/6.5mm and US11/8mm.

Bulky (Size 5) weight yarn is used. Be sure to check gauge. A bulky weight yarn that’s a bit too light will result in a smaller beanie. You may end up preferring this, so play around with your yarn stash.
