MOORLAND cardigan is knitted seamlessly top down with a saddle shoulder construction. The cardigan has a boxy fit in the body and slim-fitting sleeves.
Sizing: The pattern comes in 8 sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8) with cardigan bust circumference measuring 89 (99, 108, 118, 127) (139, 148, 158) cm / 35.5 (39.5, 43.25, 47.25, 50.75) (55.5, 59.25, 63.25) inches. It is meant to be worn with 5 - 20 cm / 2 - 8 inches of positive ease in the bust. The samples are shown in size 3 with 15 cm / 6 inches positive ease. To pick your size, measure around your bust, add your desired ease to that number, pick the size closest to it.
Suggested Yarn: Nutiden from Höner och Eir (beige sample is knit in col. Ragad) held double. Each Nutiden colourway is unique, yarn weight/yardage might differ from color to color and it is pretty hard to estimate exact yardage for the project, so yarn weight has been offered instead.
Yarn substitution: Plotulopi might be the closest yarn you could choose for this project. Other airy woolen spun yarns, approx. worsted weight, could also work well.
Yardage/ weight approx.: 400-450 (500, 500, 500, 600) (600, 600, 700) grams of Nutiden or 900 (1000, 1150, 1250, 1370) (1450, 1580, 1700) meters / 984 (1094, 1258, 1367, 1498) (1586, 1728, 1859) yards of worsted weight yarn. Yardage / weight given is approximate as the final yarn usage will depend on the type of yarn you use, your gauge and any changes to the pattern you may make.
Gauge: 7 sts/ 22 rnds per 10 cm/ 4 inches in stockinette in the round on size B needles (after washing and blocking)
Row gauge is important in this pattern. Tips are provided on how to modify the pattern if you cannot meet the row gauge.
