Moors is a simple one-colour cowl combining texture with a bit of lace. The cowl is worked top down and there is a little bit of shaping to make the cowl wider at the bottom for a perfect fit. The English pattern contains both charted and written instructions for the lace.

Green sample: Taito Pirkanmaa Pirkkalanka (100 % Norwegian wool, 170 m / 100 g), colour 547.

Grey sample: Pirtin Kehräämö Koirankarvalanka 180 TEX x 3 (50 % Finnish wool, 50 % dog hair, 185 m / 100 g), colour middle grey.

Needle:
4,5 mm (US 7) - 16”/40 cm circular needle (or longer is you prefer to use magic loop). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge.

Gauge:
18 sts x 32 rnds = 4 x 4” / 10 x 10 cm in broken ribbing worked in the round (after blocking).
