I am retiring from knit design due to progressive arthritis. Although I will no longer provide pattern support to my patterns that are now free, my patterns are edited and most have been test knit.

My latest cowl is appropriate for all knitters as it just knit and purl stitches and is reversible! This is a great project to learn to knit from a chart, with my written instructions as a back up.

The pictured model is the narrow version 50”/127 cm
circumference. Moose Island pattern features two narrow versions wrapped twice or worn as knit. The wider version uses three multiples and two chart repeats.

Narrow versions: 30 (50)”/76 (127) cm circumference by
5.25”/13.5 cm height, blocked

Wider version: 30”/76 cm circumference by 9.25”/23.5 cm height, blocked
