There is no pattern exact to this, it’s just a knitting-technique. The scarf is knitted back and forth.

This is an old norwegian knitting-technique supposedly started by a woman called Mor Astrup/Mamma Astrup (Mother Astrup). Her name was Ebba Astrup, she was manager at an orphanage and supposedly knitted scarfs like this to the children.
