Pattern description from Knitting in America: “Margrit developed an easy slip-stitch pattern for the classic cardigans the kids are wearing and the pullover worn by the rowboat captain on page 41. She then mixed three natural colors of three-strand Morehouse yarn to achieve a different effect in each one. Margrit did a lot of swatching before she began, as is evident from the photo above. Morehouse yarn undergoes no chemical processing and is so soft that, even when worn next to the skin, it is not scratchy. The pattern for these sweaters appears on page 175. Margrit absolutely loves the creative and meditative rewards of knitting. She says that when she looks at her yarn, she feels inspired, and when she sees someone wearing a handknit sweater she often feels compelled to ask them about it. During the day, her knitting helps her to make decisions. She believes that when her hands are occupied with her yarn and needles, her mid is free to find solutions.”

This yarn is available in five natural shades: Soft White, Oatmeal, Silver, Charcoal (brownish gray), and Chocolate. (Silver - A, Soft White - B, Chocolate - C); {Silver - A, Oatmeal - B, Charcoal - C}.
• One pair each size 5 and 7 needles or size needed to obtain gauge
