Morganite Socks is inspired by the 2024 Knotty Habit KYSO Sock Box theme - Semi-Precious Stones

When I saw the first colorway, I almost immediately got the idea for a themed set for Socktober 2024

There are 5 patterns in the theme. Morganite is the fifth to be released.

The other designs in the series are:

  • Aquamarine - click here
  • Quartz - click here
  • Garnet - click here
  • Peridot - click here

Like the others in the series, Morganite socks features a contrast cuff, heel and toe with some easy stockinette on the foot section.

The leg section is dedicated to some stranded colorwork depicting a semi - precious stone

The sock construction is cuff down and although the pattern is written for Magic loop, you can use your preferred sock knitting method (DPNs or 9” circulars)

About the yarn - KYSO is a merino / nylon base (75% / 25%) fingering weight sock yarn. Although Natural is not part of the box set, I opted to choose a color that would contrast well with all the colorways in the theme.

For the CC - Morganite - a pretty semi solid pink, is used.

In terms of quantities, you will need:
Natural (MC) - 58 g (213 m / 232 yds)
Morganite (CC) - 36 g (132 m / 144 yds)
