Mormor Sweater

Mormor means maternal grandmother in Swedish.
As a child, I used to watch my grandmother knitting, with her reading glasses on top of her regular ones. I was too young to learn from her then, but I think of her every time I knit today. This pattern is a tribute to her.

This sweater is knitted in the round from the bottom up in the traditional Icelandic style, with 2-ply Ístex Plötulopi yarn.

We like to create patterns that are easy to follow even for beginners. So we have listed all steps that you need to follow in bullet lists. This way you can easily track where you are and mark the steps you have completed.
