Morning Glory Pillow
My Morning Glory pillow is made with my granny square from Granny Square Day 2021! I always love seeing everyone’s squares on Granny Square Day. This year, my square was inspired by a morning glory flower. The front of the pillow is composed of nine 3D granny squares, and the back of the pillow is a large light pink granny square. The pillow is joined along three sides, and the bottom is held together with five buttons. This allows the pillow to be taken on and off of the insert. The written pattern includes step by step pictures throughout it. There are round by round pictures and a chart for the granny square. I used Cascade Ultra Pima yarn (219 yd skeins of cotton DK yarn) for the pillow, but any DK weight yarn will work! You will need one skein of each color for the front side, and two skeins of the color of the back side. There will be leftovers of all the colors. You will also need a 18 by 18 in (46 cm) pillow insert and 5 buttons (1.5 cm in diameter).
