Morning Glory Skirt
Just like the flower that blooms on a warm summer day the Morning Glory Skirt has a gentle ruffled edge! The skirt is sideways knit in one piece and seamed when finished. The ruffles are created using short rows and can be knit in a contrast yarn to make them stand out. Elastic is added to a waistband casing for a perfect fit.
Loom: ½” gauge loom with the number of pegs needed for size
(Kiss Small Gauge 2-way adjustable loom with 2 washers was used.)
This pattern is custom sized just for you! There is an online, interactive worksheet link included that will help you achieve a perfect fit every time. You will need to knit a small gauge swatch and provide a few measurements to get a customized pattern just the right size for you.
A yardage calculator is included in the online worksheet. To give you a general idea a skirt for a 3-4 year old was 210 yards and the knee length skirt pictured above was 630 yards.
