MORNING SUNRISE socks is a toe up double stranded colour work pattern using fingering weight yarn with an afterthought heel.

There are two versions.

This sock pattern uses the Magic Loop Method, which means that you’ll be using a long circular needle. Your stitches will be divided evenly onto the N1 which will be the front of the sock and N2 which will be the back of the sock. However you can easily adapt the pattern for DPNs needles by dividing stitches from N1 onto two needles and N2 to another two needles. I knitted the cuff and foot of the sock in the picture on a 9 inch circular needle, so choose the method you prefer.

Size: 1,2(3,4) | 48,56(64,72)sts
Sock measurements in circumference in gauge 6,7(8,9)inch | 15,17.5(20,23)cm
Foot Circumference for 2 inch (5 cm) negative ease 8, 9 (10, 11) inches | 20, 23 (26, 28) cm

Gauge: 32 sts x 40 rnds = 4 inch / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch (8 sts per inch) with US 1 - 2.25 mm circular needles or needles to obtain the gauge
