I love colour but I always find it very challenging to pair up colours that work well together. Brittany of Crux Fibres put together this amazing pairing for me when I told her I wanted to design a pair of colourwork socks using her Purple Rain colour way.
I think this turned out to be a really fun way to mix a variegated yarn with bold tonals. Have fun mixing and matching your scrappy leftovers or those 20g skeins you have stashed away for the colourwork portion.
The sock features a twisted rib and a colourwork panel with bobbles. The socks are designed with a contrasting heel flap and gusset, and a toe which has a fun colourwork section.
