Here are the details for the very fun Moroccan Magique NMKAL (Non-Mystery Knit-a-long.) This is a risk free KAL – you see the pattern ahead of time but you still do it via clues! You can finish it without rushing and with the support of your fellow knitters.

How to enter
Post in the Casapinka Sign-up Group on Ravelry. Dragonfly and Casapinka have developed 6 kits that we think would be beautiful for this pattern. They are shown to the left. You can get them from your lys or the Dragonfly website. You may also use any 6 colors that you love together!

About the shawl
Moroccan Magique is a rectangular shawl that has lots of garter, eyelets, and some texture stitches. Simple short rows (video will be given for German short rows when the time comes – so simple!) to add some flounce and help the rectangle drape around you. It is a long shawl but directions are given to make it shorter for those of you who are more petite. The same kits are used for both shawls. You can decide along the way how short you’d like it. There will be a schematic soon to help you plan your colors.

Yarn requirements

1. Four skeins 400 yards of fingering/sock weight yarn. Put them in an order that you like.
2. One skien of 200 yards of fingering/sock weight yarn. This will serve to divide the sections.
