• The design is ideal for a table mat, pillow cover, bag, or wall hanging, and can easily be adapted for a piece with repeats such as a blanket, afghan, table runner, or bed runner. It uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

• The sample was made with lightweight DK (#3) yarn and a C (2.75mm) hook, with a gauge of approximately 6.5 stitches and 6 rows per inch. It measures about 16 inches wide and 17 inches tall.
