This pattern was designed for a patch, but can be adapted for other pieces. It uses three crochet techniques: overlay mosaic crochet, tapestry crochet, and crochet with prestrung beads. You must be familiar with all three techniques to work the pattern. It contains written directions for completing your project.

The sample patch was made with crochet thread #10, a 1.5 mm hook, and Size 6/0 seed beads. It measures 3.75 inches square.

I’m offering the pattern free, hoping to inspire other crochet designers to combine mosaic crochet with tapestry crochet and beads. It’s a lot of fun.
