Mosaic Bookcase Runner
NOTE: Instructions for making the tassels are NOT included in this pattern.
• This pattern includes a detailed chart with stitch key and general written directions for using the chart to complete your project. If you’re new to mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!
• The pattern was designed specifically for a textured, one-color piece.
• The chart is for flat pieces with repeats, using the overlay mosaic crochet technique. It’s ideal for bookcase runners, table runners, wall hangings, or scarves.
• Two versions of the chart are provided: (1) a print chart with two pages that can be taped together so you can see the entire pattern and (2) a screen chart if you prefer viewing the pattern on a screen.
• The sample bookcase runner was made with worsted weight (#4) yarn and an F (3.75mm) hook, with a gauge of approximately 5 stitches and 5 rows per inch. It measures 9.75 inches wide and can be made to any length.
I hope you enjoy working with this chart as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Happy crocheting!
Elizabeth
