Mosaic Overlay Crochet Pattern. Christmas Mug Rugs includes five cute designs for mug rugs and details on how these designs can be used to make a blanket.

The designs are all 24 stitch repeats. They can be used individually as mug rugs or as a strip in a blanket to create your own Christmas blanket, cushion, table runner etc.

The blanket pictured shows one possible layout of these designs. Each strip is different.

They are mosaic beginner friendly designs as there are no special stitches.

If this is your first mosaic project, you will find many YouTube videos if you need further help. When choosing yarn, it is important to choose contrasting colours so the pattern stands out.

The meterage listed above is for 5 mug rugs. Any yarn can be used for a blanket.
