Are you ready for Christmas? Such a cute table runner to show off your crochet skills. It would make a lovely gift or centre piece for your Christmas table.

US terminology is used and it is in Overlay Mosaic Crochet style. All the patterns are either 24 or 12 stitch repeats so very compatible with other mosaic patterns. This allows a bit of mix and match with other patterns you might have or to use to extend the runner if you wish.

The pattern contains written instructions as well as coloured charts (marked with Xs) and video links for the angle stitches and carrying yarn. When choosing colours, it is important to choose contrasting colours so the pattern stands out.

If you have not done mosaic overlay crochet before there are a number of videos on YouTube for beginners to this style of crochet. You will be surprised at how easy it is just using SC and DC stitches.

Table runner measures approx. 111 x 38cm (43 3/4 x 15 inches) using DK yarn and hooks noted above. I used 7 different colours of DK. Thank you to Caroline and Rachele for the photos of their lovely table runners.
