Introduction
This pattern was created as an aid to a video tutorial I’ve made to demonstrate all of the special stitches in my mosaic crochet patterns. Feel free to use it however you’d like in your projects. I’m using my samples as little coasters.

Features of this pattern:
– Video tutorial that teaches all of the special stitches in my patterns.
– Glossary of special stitches with written instructions.
– 2 charts, one as they appear in my patterns and one with arrows showing the direction and target of the special stitches in the pattern as a learning aid
– Full line-by-line written instructions for the chart

Samples
Both samples were created using Lion Brand Mandala and/or Caron Skinny Cakes and a 3.5mm crochet hook. You can create this block using any weight of yarn and a hook appropriate for that yarn.

Video Tutorial
The main purpose of this pattern was to make a line-by-line video tutorial in order to teach folx how to make the special stitches that I use in my patterns. You can watch the video tutorial on my YouTube Channel, Sequoia Makes. Here’s the video:
