A quick-knit cowl based on Barbara Walker mosaic motifs adapted to working in the round.

The designs may look complicated but all you need to know are cast-on, knit and purl stitch, and bind-off. Only one color yarn at a time gets worked (no “floats” to worry about as in Fair Isle) and every other round is a straight repeat of the previous.

Materials: Two 50g (@120~ yds) balls of DK/light worsted yarns in contrasting colors. Add another color, or more, for the edge bands.
