This dapper dog is just waiting for your fabulous hands to help them come alive! This pattern has so many options, I hope you’ll find lots of ways to make wonderful crochet pouches, bags, blankets, scarves, so many things are possible with Mosaic Dapper Dog. This might be cuteness overload, but I’m happy about that!

This, as with all of my mosaic patterns, uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique.

Features of this Pattern
– 2 different sizes of zippered pouches, with charts turned upside down to make it easy to work from the zipper downward, also with full written instructions for each chart (charts are also provided right side up and full written instructions for those who’d prefer to work from the bottom up)
– Multi-page photo tutorial to learn how to start zippered pouches and how to make a bottom and attach so that pouches stand on their own
– 4 different flat charts of various sizes and designs for making blankets, placemats, wall hangings, etc. with full written instructions for each

Written in US crochet terms. Any yarn and hook will work, hook should be recommended size by yarn label, or one to two sizes smaller, depending on the look you’d like to achieve. Yardage depends on your project, weight of yarn, and hook used.

The medium pouch sample was made using Lion Brand Mandala in Kelpie and Big Twist Renewal in Black with a 2.75mm hook and a 14” zipper. The final pouch measures 12.5” wide x 9” high x 3.5” deep at bottom.

The small pouch sample was made using Patons Grace mercerized cotton in Blush and Fiesta with a 2.75mm hook and a 7” zipper (although a 9” zipper is recommended for this size pouch). The final pouch measures 8.5” wide x 6.25” high x 2” deep at bottom.

Video Help
I have created and published a written/video tutorial for all of the special stitches used in my patterns. They are free. I recommend doing that tutorial and then this pattern will be easy peasy.
