Mosaic Drumbeat Blanket
Note: The pattern does not include directions for making the border. It was designed for flat pieces with horizontal (stitch) repeats, but not vertical (row) repeats.
• This pattern includes a detailed chart with stitch key and general written directions for using the chart to complete your project. If you’re new to mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!
• The chart was designed for a lapghan, as shown in the sample. It uses the overlay mosaic crochet technique. Experienced mosaic crocheters will be able to adapt the chart for a bed runner, table runner, wall hanging, or rug.
• Two versions of the chart are provided: (1) a print chart with 12 pages and (2) a screen chart if you prefer viewing the pattern on a screen.
• Any weight yarn may be used for your project. The sample lapghan is 128 stitches wide and 127 rows tall. A 76-stitch repeat is marked for a wider piece.
I hope you enjoy working with this chart as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Happy crocheting!
Elizabeth
