Child~ 19”/48cm, Adult~ 21.5”/54.5cm, Large Adult~ 24”/61cm circumference.

The hat was worked in the round using size US6 (4mm) 16” (40cm) circular needle for the ribbing and size US7 (4.5mm) 16” (40cm) circular needle for the remainder of the hat.

One skein in each color is plenty for this pattern. You will have enough yarn left over to invert the colors and knit up another. How cool is that.

While vacationing in the UP of Michigan last fall I visited all the local yarn shops I could find. I told my brother I was going to design a Fair Isle hat while enjoying the fantastic fall colors. I told him he could choose the two colors for the hat…I think he did a great job!
