Overlay mosaic crochet CAL

If you are unfamiliar with overlay mosaic crochet technique or the envelope border -- don’t worry! This is MUCH easier than it looks!

It’s a perfect pattern for mosaic crochet beginners!

Full written instructions are provided, alongside clearly marked, easy to read charts and lots of helpful photos.

You just have to know these 2 basic crochet stitches:

• Single Crochet (sc)
• Double Crochet (dc) (US terms)

And (in general) use only ONE color per row.

The last section of this blanket uses mid-row color changes as an added fun piece…

Materials Needed:

• Yarn: Worsted weight (#4) yarn in 6 colors I used Mary Maxim Maximum Value Yarn

1. Cottonwood (Color A) - 2515 yards/6 skeins
2. Medium Green (Color B) - 860 yards/2 skeins
3. Yellow (Color C) - 300 yards/1 skein
4. Medium Violet (Color D) - 555 yards/2 skeins
5. Medium Rose (Color E) - 300 yards/1 skein
6. Medium Denim (Color F) - 300 yards/1 skein

• Hook: H/ 5mm for the main body G+/ 4.5 mm for the envelope border
