Welcome to my Mosaic Green Man mosaic overlay pattern. This is a FREE pattern which comes with UK and US written instructions and a 1 page chart or a 4 page chart. There are no other instructions so this pattern is ideal for those who are familiar with mosaic overlay patterns.

It’s a great pattern and it’s huge! It covers a double bed easily. The reason it’s FREE is because I wish I had done a single green colour background, instead of varying the greens so I’m hoping someone will take on this challenge to show me what it will look like that way.

It has lots of quirky details, including mice, hares, an owl, ducks, an insect, snakes and neat little oak leaves.

It uses a lot of yarn. I used DK yarn which is why it’s so big. I used 18x100g of Pato Cream yarn and roughly the same in various greens that I had in my stash.
