IMPORTANT: This pattern may be worked in two or three colors. If using three colors, you must know how to change colors within rows of mosaic crochet.

• Included are four detailed charts with stitch key (US terms) and general written directions for using the charts to complete your project. If you’re new to mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!

• The honeybee coasters (two bees, a honey pot, and a bee hive) make ideal host/hostess gifts or housewarming gifts.

• The charts are for flat pieces with no repeats, using the overlay mosaic crochet technique. Experienced mosaic crocheters will be able to adapt the charts for flat pieces with repeats.

• The sample coasters were made with #3 crochet thread and a C (2.75mm) hook, with a gauge of approximately 6.5 stitches and 6.5 rows per inch. They measure 5 inches square.
