This is a simple mosaic design and a great stash-buster. The pattern is for a mug rug (somewhere to put your cups at your desk etc) but it can be used however you want.

Yarn/gauge doesn’t really matter, just use two yarns of similar weight. The photo in this pattern is in a light DK and measures 19cm by 16 cm.
