Mosaic Owls
Mosaic Owls can be knit into a rectangular shawl with just one owls row at one edge. There are many ways these owls and zigzag stripes can be arranged! If you want to knit it just like on the main photo, you will need 2 skeins of URTHYARN Uneek Fingering hand-dyed extrafine merino (this yarn stripes beautifully in zigzag pattern 5-6 repeats wide; you will get about 2-3 rows of each color), and for the owls, just 20 g (80m) of each of the two highly contrasting colors. Recommended needle size - 3.5mm.
Technique: mosaic knitting. Only one color is used per row
Gauge: 22 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in garter.
One owl is 7.5 X 12 cm.
