Thank you for your interest in this pattern. Let me tell you a bit about it. Mosaic Paw Prints is a mosaic crochet pattern written using the Overlay Mosaic Crochet technique. The pattern includes cat paw prints and dog paw prints that you can use to make the projects in this pattern or incorporate into other projects.

This pattern does not include an alphabet. You can buy my alphabet pattern to add names to the projects in this pattern or you can use another mosaic alphabet pattern. I have bundled my Large Mosaic Alphabet pattern with this pattern, which gives you a discount for buying them together.

Features of this pattern:
– 10 different charts to create various projects, including each paw individually, borders, and various versions of pet mats (just paws, paws with one name, and paws with two names)
– Full written instructions for each chart in the pattern
– Written plus photo instructions for creating Twisted Fringe
– Written plus photo instructions for creating a Double Border
– Written instructions for special stitches used in the pattern

Written in US crochet terms. Any yarn and hook will work, hook should be recommended size by yarn label, or one to two sizes smaller, depending on the look you’d like to achieve. Double border uses a hook one size smaller than the body of the piece. Yardage depends on your project, weight of yarn, and hook used.

• The Baph and Beelz Cat Mat Sample was created using Red Heart Super Saver in Grape Fizz and Spring Green with a 4.5mm hook for the body and a 4.0mm hook for the double border. It measures 19.25 inches wide by 13.5 inches high. (Baph and Beelz are my cats btw)
• The Champ Dog Mat Sample was created using Lion Brand Pound of Love in Black and Cherry and Big Twist Value Solids in Varsity Yellow with a 5.0mm hook for the body and a 4.5mm hook for the double border. It measures 23 inches wide by 18 inches high.
• The Two Cat Paws Table Mat Sample was created using Red Heart Super Saver Stripes in Retro Stripe and Big Twist Value in white with a 4.0mm hook. It measures 9.25 inches wide by 8.75 inches high.
