This motif is a special and matches the Cal “1 Year Mosaic World travel”. It is exactly the same size as the world map and the summer journey. You can use this motif for the blanket or you can crochet a cushion from it. My lovely tester Mandy has made a cushion, the front is the summer trip and the back is the postcard. As I also publish our destinations individually, you can also choose 2 destinations for the back. You can also choose the world map as the back, there are no limits to your creativity. You can personalise this postcard with your desired text, because I have also added a complete alphabet, so you can also write/crochet birthday wishes, for example. The postcard will also look great as a wall hanging for your summer decorations!
INFORMATION:
Garnverbrauch: Schachenmayr Soft & Easy 100g/235m: weiß 300g/ grau 110 g/ rot, gelb, blau Reste
Angewendete Maschen:
Luftmaschen
Feste Maschen

INFORMATION:
This wall hanging/cushion/bag is crocheted using the mosaic technique overlay. You will receive an 11-page PDF pattern with a short introduction to mosaic crochet, colour charts/diagrams for the motifs, a small photo tutorial for the stitches used and written instructions for the first rows, for an easy start. Therefore also suitable for ambitious beginners.
I have made 2 extra files for the chart, one is enlarged and therefore suitable for printing, the other file contains the complete chart on one page, therefore suitable for all common apps!
Size: 100 cm x 50 cm (with the yarn & crochet hook I used)
Yarn usage: Schachenmayr Soft & Easy 100g/235m: white 300g/ grey 110 g/ red, yellow, blue - Stash
I crocheted with a 4.5 mm crochet hook. You can use any yarn, just be aware that the wall hanging, cushion or blanket will be larger or smaller. It also depends on how you crochet, because everyone crochets differently (loose/tight)! Also use a crochet hook half a size larger when crocheting mosaics!
Applied stitches & technique:
Chain / Chain
DC Double crochet / Sc Single crochet
DC in back loop only / Sc in back loop only
Tr Treble in front loop of st 2 rows below / Dc Double crochet in front loop of st 2 rows below
diagonal Tr/Dc
Technique: Mosaic - Overlay
If you are a beginner, watch videos on YouTube. You will find quite a few videos there. This technique is easy to learn.

Happy crocheting,
Susanne Toth - SUTO Design
