• This pattern is a detailed chart with stitch key. It does not include complete written instructions or a description of how to make the color changes. If you’re new to tapestry mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!

• The chart is for a flat piece with no repeats, using the overlay tapestry mosaic crochet technique. Experienced mosaic crocheters will be able to adapt the chart for flat pieces with repeats, such as afghans, blankets, placemats, table runners, bags, pillows, wall hangings, and more.

• The sample was made with lightweight DK (#3) yarn and an E (3.5mm) hook, with a gauge of 6 stitches and 6 rows per inch. It measures 7 inches square.
