Mosaic Sampler Two Ways
Note: This pattern is a one-page chart only, with no written instructions.
• If you’re new to overlay mosaic crochet or Tunisian mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!
• I designed this simple pattern to introduce you to Tunisian mosaic crochet—a fun technique with no ends to weave in. It’s ideal for a table runner or wall hanging.
• Both samples were made with fingering weight yarn. The Tunisian mosaic sample was made with a G (4 mm) hook, and the overlay mosaic sample was made with a C (2.75 mm) hook.
• As you can see, the two techniques result in different proportions.
• For the Tunisian mosaic sample, I used the Tunisian simple stitch and the Tunisian extended stitch.
I hope you enjoy working with this chart as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Happy crocheting!
Elizabeth
