Ideal for beginners to Mosaic Crochet, this simple seahorse design combines both tapestry crochet and mosaic crochet for a unique and eye-catching design, perfect for small projects or interior décor.

The finished size, worked in DK yarn will be about 28 x 20 cm (11” x 8”). Alternative weight yarns can be used, however, both MC (main colour) and CC (contrast colour) weights should be the same, and finished size and recommended hook will vary if alternative weight yarns are used.

Stylecraft DK is used for this pattern, but an alternative ‘flecked’ or ‘dappled’ yarn in a dark colour would work well as the main colour, with a lighter, solid colour yarn as a contrast colour.
