Mosaic Swan
The Mosaic Swan is a simple, beginner frendly( in mosaic crochet) pattern that uses simple stitches.
It cames in 2 versions, one worked from the bottom up and one worked from top to bottom, both with simple charts marked with “X’s”, simple introduction to the mosaic crochet technique, small photo tutorial and written instructions.
You can use this pattern for making a tote, a cushion cover or a nice table matt by using both versions at the same time.
Abbreviations US terms
SC: single crochet worked in back loop only
DC: double crochet worked in front loop only 2 rows below
SST: slip stitch
CH: chain stitch
Materials
For this project I recommend a super fine/ light yarn like Hobbii Universe and Unicorn Solid and a 2.5mm / 3mm crochet hook, (approximately 900/1200 meters in total).
● Approx. 1 cake of Hobbii Universe in Solar Flare
● Appox. 2 skeins of Hobbii Unicorn Solid in Cream
Choose a fine/ light weight yarn and suitable crochet hook, otherwise the bag will be huge.
The approximate size of the tote I made by using this pattern is 36cm width and 38cm height.
