• This pattern is a set of four detailed charts with stitch key and general written directions for using the charts to complete your project. If you’re new to mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!

• The charts are for flat pieces with no repeats, using the overlay mosaic crochet technique. Experienced mosaic crocheters will be able to adapt the charts for placemats, table runners, bags, afghans, blankets, pillows, and more.

• A coaster, which can be completed in about two hours, is a great way to take a break between larger projects and to use up scraps of yarn.

• A set of coasters makes an ideal gift for a dinner party, housewarming, or other special occasion.
