Socks featuring a mosaic tile motif, worked with 2 colors of yarn.
They are worked from the cuff down. The heel stitches are set on hold on a piece of waste yarn and the foot is worked first to the end of the toe. The afterthought heel is then worked from these stitches on hold, after removing the waste yarn.
You have two types of tile motifs to choose from for the colorwork, and you can either match the socks and the cowl (published at the same time as the socks) or make each item with a different motif. You can make both items with two 100 g skeins of fingering weight yarn.
