• This pattern is a set of 2 detailed charts with stitch key and general written instructions for using the charts to complete your project. If you’re new to mosaic crochet, there are many helpful YouTube videos. That’s how I learned!

• Mosaic Turtle & Fish Baby Blanket 2 separates a row of fish and a row of turtles with a wave motif. Mosaic Turtle & Fish Baby Blanket 1 alternates the fish and turtles in each row and adds a bubble motif.

• The charts are for flat pieces with repeats, using the overlay mosaic crochet technique. Experienced mosaic crocheters will be able to adapt the charts for afghans, blankets, pillows, bags, placemats, table runners, wall hangings, and more.

• The sample blankets were made with lightweight DK (#3) yarn and an E (3.5mm) hook, with a gauge of 6 stitches and 6 rows per inch. They can be made to any size to fit your needs.
