This design is inspired by ancients mosaics… artworks created with small sections of different colours.
The earliest recorded mosaics are found at Abra in Mesopotamia, believed to be from the second half of 3rd millennium BC.

The pattern includes colour stitch charts for each section, as well as written instructions and links to useful resources.

The KnitKit, for hand knit and standard gauge single or double bed knitting machines, includes all the yarn needed for the garment and gauge swatches (12 colours - Jamiesons Spindrift 100% shetland wool), along with the pattern on CD.

Yarn required: Jamiesons Spindrift 100% shetland wool
