Mosaic Zebra beanie
Introduction
After making a pattern with mosaic zebra stripes I wanted to add on some accessories with my existing charts.
The first one is this beanie, with a very natural looking Zebra pattern without the constant color changes you’d have in intarsia - this is worked in mosaic and yarn only gets changed once a row (unless you chose to use more than 2 colors).
Making a beanie, which naturally has decreases towards the top and combining it with mosaic crochet has been a good challenge and visualizing it has been another. I would not recommend this pattern if you are an absolute beginner at crochet or if you just want to switch your brain off completely; you will have to often check the chart, count and pay attention to decreases.
This pattern pdf contains instructions with pictures for everything: -* The Zebra chart
