This basket that came with simple, white cotton padding inside and over the top edge, which was ideal for supporting the knitted lining. Choose a basket that does not have ruffles or other embellishments that will prevent the lining from lying smoothly.”

Notions: Approx 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of cotton fabric (for bottom of the basket; you may be able to use the fabric liner that comes with the basket; stitch markers in 3 colors or types.
