Any worsted weight yarn can be used for this pattern along with a 3.75mm hook to achieve a result the same or similar to my design. Gauge is not important, the size of this product is easily adjusted by changing yarn weight and hook size.

Result should have a firm base and a flexible/posable mushroom cap.
