MOSI is an African name, and means ‘firstborn’. This top a derivative of the MOSI sweater and cardigan, my first designs, my firstborns in my life as a designer. It is a top that you can enjoy wearing in summer and winter. It has a loose, comfortable and stylish fit.

The MOSI top is knitted bottom-up. In this process, the body is knitted in the round. Later, front and back are split and then you knit them back and forth separately. The shoulders are created by binding off the front and back together. Finally, the little sleeves are knitted in the round.

Bust circumference
The bust circumference of the finished pullover measures approx. 86 (91, 97, 101) 106 (111, 117, 126) 137 (146, 157, 168) cm (33¾ (35¾, 38¼, 39¾) 41¾ (43¾, 46, 49½) 54 (57½, 61¾, 66¼) inches). The pattern is designed to be approx. 10 cm (4 inches) larger in circumference than your bust circumference (positive ease).

The length of the finished pullover is 52 (53, 53, 53) 53 (54, 54, 56) 58 (58, 60, 62) cm (20½ (20¾, 20¾, 20¾) 20¾ (21¼, 21¼, 22) 22¾ (22¾, 23½, 24½) inches).

Gauge
28 stitches x 38 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) on 3 mm needles, main fabric, after washing and then drying flat
